Resumen

La publicación de P.GC. inv. 105 + P.Sapph. Obbink a principios de 2014, un nuevo testimonio papiráceo que complementa fragmentos ya conocidos de Safo y transmite otros nuevos, ha confirmado datos de fuentes antiguas en relación con sus hermanos Caraxo y Lárico. Una de estas fuentes es la Heroida XV, composición en la que Ovidio, utilizando datos biográficos de la poetisa, imaginó qué pudo haberle escrito Safo a su amante Faón. El tema de la carta y sus caracterí­sticas compositivas están relacionadas con la etopeya y la suasoria, ejercicios retóricos que formaban parte del sistema educativo grecorromano y que influyeron en la producción literaria de la época. El presente trabajo hará una presentación del nuevo papiro y estudiará la manera en que Ovidio combinó los elementos retóricos aprendidos en la escuela con los datos autobiográficos que refiere Safo en su obra para la composición de su poema elegí­aco.

Biografía del autor/a

Ronald Forero Álvarez, Universidad de La Sabana

Licenciado en Español y Filología Clásica por la Universidad Nacional de Colombia y Máster y Doctor en Textos de la Antigüedad Clásica y su Pervivencia por la Universidad de Salamanca. Actualmente es profesor de griego clásico y latín y miembro del grupo de investigación Valor y Palabra de la Universidad de La Sabana. Sus investigaciones están relacionadas con la lírica griega arcaica, la papirología literaria, la recepción de la literatura, la literatura griega moderna y la didáctica de lenguas clásicas.
