Abstract

This work intends an approach to the poetics of Pindar from the analysis of the categories of space and time in his Pythian IX. The ode dates back to 474 a. C., at which point the poet reaches his artistic maturity and constitutes one of the most extensive epinices among the author's preserved compositions. Time and space of the performance, in constant dialogue with the coordinates of the occasion of the epinice and the mythical narratives, reveal the mastery of one of the most exquisite lyric poets of Antiquity.

Graciela N. Hamamé, Universidad Nacional de La Plata

Profesora y Licenciada en Letras por la Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Ayudante diplomada del Área Griego de la FaHCE y docente investigadora del Centro de Estudios Helénicos de la UNLP. Entre sus publicaciones se encuentran: Griego clásico: cuadernos de textos (varias ediciones). Serie Diálogos platónicos. Hipias menor (2013) y el correspondiente al diálogo Eutifrón (2016) como co-autora; además de ser editora de Actas de eventos científicos organizados por el CEH, ha publicado artículos y capítulos de libros de su especialidad como “Clitemnestra: Deixis y Referencia en la Orestíada de Esquilo” (2011, G. C. Zecchin, ed.); “Fenicias de Eurípides: conflicto y sacrificio personal en el mito y en la historia” (2015, G. C.
